Valentine's Day
Yesterday was Valentine's day and it wasn't a very memorable one. Josh was out of town and I went to the gym. I did convince Leisa to come out to lunch with me afterwards and that was fun but then I taught piano and drove my kids around and went to basketball practice and got everyone in bed. I do love Valentine's day though and have been thinking about ones of the past that were memorable. The first that comes to mind is February 14, 1998. It was a Saturday and Josh and I had been dating since late November. We decided to spend the day together so I planned our day activities and he took the night time. I decided to go to this state park that is supposed to be beautiful with lots of waterfalls so I drove us the two hours there only to discover that everything was frozen and we were the only people in the park. It was freezing and such a bust, but we walked (slipped) around and grabbed some lunch at Subway and drove the two hours back. We were just so happy to be toget...
